Wednesday, November 4th - Saskatoon Community Bands Present "The Journey Home"
7:30pm at the Broadway Theatre
Featuring Wind Ensemble & Jazz Band

Join us on November 4th for The Journey Home, a captivating evening of music that explores the landscapes, stories, and emotions that connect us to the places and people we cherish. From the lively celebration of Strauss’s Radetzky March to the soaring, bird-inspired vistas of Cait Nishimura’s Ancestral Flyways, the program navigates a rich tapestry of movement, memory, and migration. Take a peaceful stroll through seasonal foliage in Chris Byman’s Autumn Down a Maple Lane, feel the dynamic pulse of Jonathan Dagenais’s Symbiopholie, and find comfort in the expressive warmth of Adrian B. Sims’s A Place Like Home. The epic, whimsical world of Johan de Meij’s Hobbits from The Lord of the Rings completes this theme. Whether home is a place, a memory, or a shared experience, this concert promises an uplifting celebration of the pathways that bring us back together.

This performance will feature both the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. Tickets are available from the Broadway Theatre Box Office or members of the Wind Ensemble or the Jazz Band at $15/ticket. We look forward to creating music for you Wednesday, November 4th for 7:30pm at the Broadway!
